Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
Full-time role with Powerback Rehabilitation, based in Lauderhill, Florida.
Physical Therapy Assistant jobs in Lauderhill, Florida are open now, paying up to $35 an hour, with H-1B visa sponsorship and a hiring process that moves in days, not months.
About the Role
Powerback Rehabilitation has spent over four decades helping older adults recover and stay active, working across skilled nursing centers, assisted living, outpatient clinics and home-based care. They’re hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant to work in-facility, reporting directly to the Director of Rehab.
This job is hands-on from day one. You’ll run physical therapy programs and activities, follow the recovery plans that have already been mapped out, and deliver treatments that actually move the needle for your patients. Every patient gets treated as an individual, not a checklist, and your job is to help them rebuild strength, mobility and confidence.
You’ll find variety here too. No two days look exactly the same, since you’re working across different settings and different patients with different needs. You’ll lean on your fellow clinicians when a case calls for it, and refer patients out when someone else can help them faster. At the core of it, you’re putting patients first and making sure they and their families feel genuinely cared for.
What makes Powerback stand out is the CEO, a former staff therapist who gets what it means to show up as a caregiver every day. That shows in the numbers: 86% of Powerback’s team say their work actually makes a difference, which helped the company earn 2023 Great Place to Work certification.
Hiring here moves fast. Applying takes about 3 minutes, and you’ll hear back within 1 business day. Qualified candidates get a 10-minute recruiter call within 2 to 3 business days, then move to the hiring manager, who reaches out within a business day to set up an interview. From there, expect a decision within the week, and if it’s a yes, you’ll hear back within a business day.
