Location: Albury Area, Australia

Visa Sponsorship: All visa types considered

Posted: September 21, 2026

Metal roofer jobs with genuine visa sponsorship don’t turn up every day, and this one’s wide open to overseas applicants. You’ll join a well-established Australian construction firm working commercial, industrial and high-end residential builds, with a real pathway to permanent residency built right into the role.

About the Role

Pacific International Consulting is hiring an experienced Metal Roof Plumber or Roof Installer to work across regional Australia, based out of the Albury area. This isn’t a quick contract – it’s a long-term role with a reputable employer currently running commercial, industrial and multi-residential projects side by side.

You’ll be on-site for medical centres, retail fit-outs, offices, industrial sheds, warehouses, multi-residential builds and high-end homes, so no two weeks look exactly the same. The company wants someone who’s already comfortable working from plans and holding quality to a commercial standard, not someone still learning the basics.

• They’re asking for a minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience in metal roofing, and if you’ve worked commercial or large-scale sites before, that experience counts for a lot here. Anyone who’s done roofing work in the Middle East – UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia or Kuwait – gets looked at favourably too, since that kind of large infrastructure exposure lines up well with what this employer builds.

On the visa side, this employer isn’t fussy about which pathway you’re coming through. All visa types get considered, and international or overseas applicants are welcomed just as much as anyone already living in Australia. There’s also a genuine pathway to permanent residency once you’re settled into the role, which is rare to see spelled out this plainly.

If you’ve been doing metal roofing for a few years and want to take that experience somewhere with real projects and a real visa pathway, this is worth putting your name down for.
