Life in the Role
You’ll work out of Ambifo’s Singapore office as the lead technical voice on AWS solution architecture engagements for enterprise clients right across the Asia-Pacific region. That means you’re the go-to person for cloud strategy, migration planning, and modernization work, not a specialist buried three layers down from the client.
Day to day, you’ll run AWS Well-Architected Framework reviews and turn the findings into real remediation plans. You’ll map out migration strategies using the 6 R’s for workloads that are genuinely complex, not textbook examples, and you’ll design serverless, containerized, and microservices setups that hold up under enterprise load. You’ll also present straight to C-level executives and technical boards, so you need to be as comfortable in a boardroom as you are in a terminal.
Expect to travel within the APAC region about 20 to 30 percent of your time, working alongside the AWS partner team on co-sell deals and leading pre-sales work like proof-of-concepts and live demos.
