XCircle is looking for two trade-qualified welders to join its growing manufacturing operation in Western Australia. The full-time roles are based around the company’s Wangara and Neerabup facilities, where teams manufacture modular infrastructure for critical power and data centre projects.

About the Role

This is a hands-on fabrication role for an experienced welder who can work confidently from engineering drawings, weld maps and job specifications. You’ll be welding structural components and modular systems, including skid bases, frames and enclosures.

The work involves GMAW welding with both solid and cored wire. You’ll also handle steel preparation, fit-up and tacking before completing welds in flat, horizontal and vertical positions. Completed welds must meet the required specifications and approved welding procedures.

XCircle operates as an advanced manufacturer rather than a traditional small workshop. The company designs, engineers, manufactures and integrates modular critical infrastructure, with its facilities supporting projects in areas including data centres, transport and resources.

For overseas applicants, visa sponsorship is available for the right candidates. The employer is looking for people who already have the required trade skills and can meet its welding and workplace requirements.

  • Weld accurately in flat, horizontal and vertical positions
  • Inspect completed welds visually for quality and compliance
  • Assist with general fabrication and assembly work when required
  • Keep the work area clean, organised and compliant with WHS requirements

Qualifications

  • Trade qualification in welding or boilermaking
  • Strong GMAW/MIG welding skills using solid wire
  • Cored wire welding experience is highly regarded
  • Ability to pass a 2F mild-steel weld test
  • Confident welding in flat, horizontal and vertical positions
  • Ability to read technical drawings and weld maps
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
